Dear Parents,
We are approaching that time of year again. For those of you who are new, each year we host a fundraising dinner/dance and silent auction to raise funds for the Bahamas Sailing Association and our international sailors. Last year the event was hosted by the Nassau Yacht Club this year it is being hosted by the BSA on May 25th at the NYC.
We are writing to you all to ask for your assistance in providing prizes for the auction. We are asking each family to provide one prize towards the auction. If you have an artist in your family or even a jewelry designer and they are willing to donate one of their pieces it would be greatly appreciated.
Last year we had some great prizes: Sailing gift certificates for our summer program, Microwave Oven, Orchids, Deep Sea Fishing Gear, Jewelry and a whole lot more. Some other options are Gift Certificates to Starbucks, Windermere, John Bull or even a case of Steaks or Lobster Tails from Bahamas Food Services.
If you are able to assist please let me know as soon as possible. We are trying to gather all the prizes by the end of the month. I will be happy to come by and collect your donation. If you are not able to assist we would hope that you are still able to join us on May 25th. Tickets will be on sale soon.
