Rotary Fun Regatta, May 17, 2014

Hosted by the Rotary Club of East Nassau as part of their continued support of the Bahamas Sailing Association and the Bahamas National Sailing School.
  

Fleets: Optimist Intermediate, Optimist Advanced, Lasers and Sunfish

Races: Will try to have six races

Schedule – Saturday May 17, 2014

 9:30 – Sailors arrive at the Nassau Yacht Club and rig their boats
10:00 - Competitors' meeting. Spectators riding in the Committee Boats arrive. 
10:30 - 12:00 – Youth Racing
12:15 - 1:45 - Lunch on the beach (Montagu Beach) provided by RCEN
                    - Sunfish and Lasers are available sailing by Rotarians, friends and parents
2:00 - 3:30   - Youth Racing
4:00 - 4:30   - Presentation at NYC

Lunch will be served from the RCEN Hamburger Van. It is included for the sailors. Food and drinks will be for sale for everyone else (12-2:30pm).

For the adults, the kids in the Lasers and Sunfish are looking forward to having your join them on their boats. Coming ready to get wet!

 
Rotarians will be working the Hamburger Van and are also encouraged to take part in the sailing and spectating from one of the several motor boats that will be on the water.
